Come out and help Hill Country Conservancy, Keep Austin Beautiful, and The Expedition School clean up Lady Bird Lake!
Our mission is to preserve the natural areas and scenic vistas, aquifers and springs, rivers and streams, working farms and ranches, and the rural heritage of the Central Texas Hill Country for people to enjoy and cherish for generations to come, and we feel pretty strongly about turning this into a “different” kind of EPIC event. An event of EPIC proportions!
Please join us! Bring your friends! And let’s show Austin that we are a group that cares deeply about the resources we are so blessed to use everyday.
We will meet at the same place between 4:30 and 7. Please come check in at The Camacho Recreation Center (34 Robert T. Martinez Jr. Street). It’s by Fiesta Gardens just east of I-35 and we will have HCC signs up as well. There is plenty of parking by the center and there are bathrooms inside where you can change.
Bring rubber boots or hiking shoes, some old worn in clothes, and a positive attitude!
AFTER PARTY to thank you guys will be at Iron Gate (1111 East 6th Street) at 7:15! Please come by and enjoy live music, best tacos in Austin from Guero's Taco Bar, and delicious vodka concoctions by Deep Eddy Sweet Tea Vodka!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME??
